Welcome to the online registration site for the
Learning Pathways 14-19 Conferences
The conferences, run by the Welsh Assembly Government’s Department for Children Education, Lifelong Learning and Skills, will provide clarity on the legal
duties placed on schools and further education institutions, and practical advice
on taking forward the Learning and Skills (Wales) Measure 2009.
The Learning and Skills (Wales) Measure 2009 places a range of new statutory
duties and responsibilities upon school headteachers, college principals and
the governing bodies of schools and further education institutions. Some of
these duties are already in place; while others will be introduced over the
coming months. The purpose of the conference is to raise awareness of these
new duties and responsibilities and to discuss how these might be discharged.
Audience:
The conferences are aimed at secondary school headteachers, college principals, school/college governors and Learning Pathways 14-19 Network representatives.
